We believe that our olive oils and vinegars have a unique positive impact on a healthy lifestyle.  There have been many studies that revealed the positive impact of olive oil on the body, and our fresh-crushed product just contributes to that healthy diet.

In the United States, where other fats such as animal fats, hydrogenated fats, vegetable oil, and corn oil dominate the diet, have been proven to lead to higher rates of heart diseases, arthrosclerosis, diabetes, colon cancer, and asthma.  It turns out that people who use olive oil regularly, especially in place of other fats, have much lower rates of these specific health hazards.

In one study, involving 5,61 adults 60 years or older, adherence to a Mediterranean style dietary pattern, characterized by high consumption of olive oils, was associated with a significantly lower risk of death from all causes, in addition to a 50% reduced risk of mortality.

It is the abundance of polyphenols in our extra virgin olive oils that are responsible for its well-known cardiovascular benefits.  Polyphenols, which are known to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticoagulant actions, are central to the evidence that olive oil's protective effects extend to colon cancer and osteoporosis.
